Participants will:
Engage in interactive group activities and personal reflection to explore their role in social change.
Learn about social, environmental, and political issues, and how they intersect with global frameworks like the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Discuss, evaluate, and critically analyze real-world challenges shaping their communities and the world.
Build practical skills in action-planning, turning ideas into concrete steps for impact.
The workshop, available in both 60 and 90-minute format, is designed to help participants discover their unique talents and skills in order to develop a greater understanding of the crucial role they can play in their local or global communities. Through the workshop, participants develop an action plan for a social change, and increase their confidence in their ability to make a difference.
Since 2017, Kasha has led peer-to-peer workshops alongside screenings of The Sunrise Storyteller, inviting young people to step into their power to create change: socially, environmentally, and politically. A Gen-Z’s Guide to Creating Social Change meets students and community groups where they are, helping them uncover their strengths, imagine new possibilities, and design actions that leave a real mark on their world. In just 60 or 90 minutes, participants leave energized, confident, and ready to act.
